Walking, Hiking, Trekking

The GR77 (Grand Randonée 77), which stretches from the Montagne Noir across the valley of the river Aude to the Montagne d'Alaric, (or from the Minervois to the Corbières in wine terminology) passes the door of our B&B on its way from Minerve to Alaric. Feel free to join this route at any point.

By extension of this, you can cross the Pyrenees through the GR7 trail from the Montagne Noire, you can see the other face of our region: that of altitude, where the Cathar and the Catalan Country join among high summits and lake areas; that which leads you to Andorra and Spain.

There are some 6000 kilometres of maintained, marked out pathways in the Languedoc . These include coastal paths, mountain tracks, and gentle walks through gorges, valleys, rolling hillsides, vineyards, ancient villages and ruined castles. Apart from some of the higher mountain tracks they can be walked all year round.
